My Blog

I have noticed that contrary to the ideology behind my initial creation of this blog, I have subjected myself to the writing of entertainment stories. Therefore I have decided to prioritize poetry on this blog which I can most definitely do on a more consistent basis.
Poetry is a passion and I am sure poetry lovers and others as well would appreciate it.

I however cannot deny my love for the entertainment industry, especially the music and movie industry and therefore would post entertainment news occasionally.

Kim Khardsian Wants To Call Baby "Easton West"!!

Reality TV Star, Kim Khardasian who recently paid a visit to the West African country of Nigeria has played down rumours that her and Kanye's baby will be named "North". The American sweetheart who has been married twice has stated that the name "North" is not on "their" list of likely names.

She however seemed to prefer the name "Easton" . In her own words she said...

''That is not true. That is not one of the names on our list. But you know what name I do like? But it probably won't be on [the list]. 'Cause it kinda goes with North, I like Easton. Easton West. I think that's cute.''

Kim was speaking on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night (28.03.13) and when question whether she was expecting a boy she said...

''Boys names are good for girls. We have a list and some of them are 'K' names some of them aren't.''

She also added she had a hard time telling her sister Khloe Khardasian about the pregnancy.

''I had Kourtney come with me to tell Khloe 'cause I was a little nervous.
''Because I know she really really really wants a baby. So I felt like I'm gonna need some moral support to tell her. And she was so happy! But I was really nervous to tell her. And she kind of got mad that I was nervous, [she] thought it was ridiculous.''

Lil' Wayne Speaks Up About His Health

The multi-award winning American rapper Michael Dwayne Carter Jr has in recent times being in the news for all the health-related reasons. Reports of various episodes of seizures have been in the media up to the point of a near death experience.
Lil' Wayne therefore took to Power 106, a radio station in the United States to tell his fans what is going on with him where he revealed he was suffering from epilepsy.
This is what he said,

"This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh... I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them."

He continued to say...

"This time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 per cent. Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious. Certain times I don't even go to the hospital, but this time, it was real bad because it was three in a row, and I've never had three back to back like that."

Lil Tunechi blames the recent occurrences on his tight schedule and lack of rest...

"The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That's just typical me though."
Lil Wayne plans on going on tour with T.I. and Future this summer. The North American "America's Most Wanted" tour begins July 9 in Pelham, Ala. and ends Sept. 1 in Irvine, Calif.

Lil' Wayne's first public appearance since being released from hospital after suffering from a seizure by attending the 2013 Tampa Pro skateboarding competition in Florida

Video: Okyeame Kwame - Woara ft Raquel

It is obvious that this is one of the best things that happened in 2012. The song which can be found on Okyeame Kwame's album "Mr Versatile" is one which tells the tale of a tragic love.
He features Raquel on this one and in my own words,
"... it's a complete masterpiece from a master of the art."

Living up to his reputation as the best lyricist in the game which is only typical of an "Okyeame" which means a "linguist".

Poetry : The Black Star Tragedy

Kindergarten taught me the National Anthem
And my right hand has been feeling my left breast every time I heard my teachers say "The Pledge"
So it was only natural that I miss that lecture, run to the TV room and just "wedge"…
The heat in the room just painted a picture perfect Daniel-Shadrack-Meshack-Abednego representation of what I was taught in Bible School
It made me wonder if it was a taboo to bath to avoid this pool of sweat…
I could swear 90minutes under this temperature was either illegal or could bake a full bread
But somehow the patriotism of the anthem sent chills of goosebumps through my body, pardoning the unbearable heat..
If you were outside, you would think it was the smell of an unsual type of bushmeat
These Burkinabes were particularly unromantic in sight
I couldn’t get used to Bance's face with all my might
And it became obvious he had the same frightening effect on our defenders…
Vorsah tried all he could to match his terror  by dying his hair yellow…
But it a bitter pill that even Macaulay Culkin couldn’t swallow
I pity my fingers now because I chewed all the nails that decorated it…
Wakaso gave us something to smile about whiles Bance made them dance…
Asamoah Gyan oh Asamoah Gyan… His name is enough to express my pain but I thought the wise said, "No Pain No Gain"
With the referee being just a confused catalyst
But alas! It was "Yahy3 y3n" part 3&4
I wonder where Keche were when it was time for "Sokod3"
For we become the "bayla" in Burkina's trap
It was unbelievable when the referee said it’s a wrap
But I guess Naija was lucky to miss us…
They were scared as ever…
Because no matter when we bow out, its GH now and forever.
We are Champions and the world will remember us forever.

The State Of The Nation

It was barely a month ago when our thoughts actually mattered...
It is hardly weeks ago when they came to our neighbourhoods bearing gifts,
But our streets are empty again,
Back into hiding again,
Back to the rolled up car windows and the bodyguard syndrome..
No more concerned with our teardrops...
They deceived us with their catchy chants...
Screaming "Edey bee k3k3" whilst school fees chokes us k3k3!
Chanting "All die be die" when there is no inheritance for your family...
Now you turn to Prophet One, Two and Three because your MP didn't respond to your call number one, two and three...
Into the consoling arms of religion,
And continue down the path of desperation...
For they both ask for collection and votes in the market,
But they don't market their profits in your pockets,
Their lives are just opium for the masses...
Now they can't see you like they need glasses...
They cut you low like green grasses..
This is the State of the Nation,
It's more than an invasion,
There's is no time for retribution,
But religion is in the heart and politics in the mind...
Develop your skills like a country...
And love God like you are religion itself...
Before your soul is misspelt...
